Located on a quarter-mile-long stretch of sandy beach, the quiet Nisbet Plantation Beach Club was originally built as a sugar plantation in 1778. An avenue of tall palm trees leads from the original plantation’s 18th-century great house and sugar mill down to the beach. The resort offers an illuminated tennis court, swimming pool, croquet field, and beachside bar that hosts a complimentary weekly rum-punch party. A shop sells resortwear and gifts. Although guestrooms don't have televisions, there is one in the Great House's game room.
